Lip Magic

Who suffers from dry chapped lips especially in the colder months? 🙋🏼‍♀️ (Show of arms raised, including my own) Yup, winter lips are no fun. And although we are rounding into warmer days, dry chapped lips can be a downer all year round. What about your favorite matte lippie that leaves your lips totally dry and flaky. Yeah, some of my favorite lipsticks do this to mine. So, how can we have pretty, soft lips all day e’reday?  Imma share a little lip secret with you. For the past several months, I have been using Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask. I use it right before I go to bed, so it does it’s magic while I sleep and when I wake up, after wiping off the mask, my lips are softer, smoother and moisturized…..total bonus!! One of the BEST lip masks that actually work. Sephora has three flavors, Berry (the one I chose), Vanilla, and Apple Lime. The Laneige website has the same three flavors but also Grapefruit. 

The (Berry) mask has a really awesome scent to it….’enriched with Vitamin C and antioxidants, it’s Berry Mix Complex’ offers a pleasantly fruity scent derived from strawberry, raspberry, cranberry and blueberry extracts. Each jar has 20 g, which for $20, seems like a total steal for me since it actually does what it says it will do. The best thing when I opened up the product, is that it comes with a little plastic applicator so you can evenly distribute the right amount onto your lips rather than using a fingernail or Q-tip.  Although this product was made to be used while you sleep, you can use it anytime. Even under your matte lipstick to avoid any flakiness during the day or on top of your matte lippie to get a nice sheen lip gloss. Your choice.
